Expensive Shoes...

The Importance Of Expensive Shoes
By
Chris Rovny

Buying expensive shoes is not necessarily an expense; it's more like an investment. Someone can
have a fashionable wardrobe without paying a fortune for it, but when it's time to buy fashionable shoes, one should expect to spend more time and money to select them. Why is it worth paying more for quality shoes?

expensive shoes

Let's put it this way: $80 shoes will last half as long as $160 shoes, but $360 shoes will last your whole lifetime. Watch out though, $360 shoes without a shine can easily look like $80 shoes. When someone is buying expensive shoes, he is usually paying for the brand name, as well as for quality craftsmanship.

durability

Luxurious shoes are usually handmade, which means people will take care of sewing quality seams and guarantee a quality finish. The shoes should therefore have less manufacturing mistakes, have a better overall finish and should last longer. The little details added in the finish create an extra element of style. They will also increase the durability of the shoe.

Apart from the quality and durability of the shoe, why should men buy expensive shoes? Another good reason is to impress the ladies. Yes, women will evaluate and make a judgment on a man simply by looking at his shoes, and we all know that making a good first impression is important when meeting an attractive woman.

Wearing exclusive shoes will definitely help polish a man's image. This image can make a big difference between a normal man and a man with expensive shoes in the first stages of dating. In addition, note that poor quality shoes are especially noticeable when a man is well dressed because of the contrast it creates. Women will notice details such as cheap shoes, and it is therefore worth spending the extra dollars to buy higher quality shoes. Not only will women look down, notice the shoes and be impressed with them, but they might even see potential in a man with good taste for footwear.

Let me explain: low-priced shoes are usually associated with cheap mannerisms and women usually don't like cheap men. So when a woman looks at a man's shoes, she will analyze them. If he is wearing cheap shoes, then she may come to the conclusion that he is a cheap person; not frugal, but cheap . This may seem pretty farfetched, but in fact, it isn't. Ask a female friend and you will be surprised about her opinion on the matter. Simply take this advice and don't lose out on a hot member of the opposite sex because you didn't want to spend a few extra dollars on quality shoes.

Aside from the monetary factor, women enjoy dating distinguished and stylish men. Women's attraction to stylish men is partly due to the fact that for many years, most of us didn't really take care of our wardrobe. With the whole liberation of women movement, women will now date men they like, and they will choose those who actually take care of themselves... and who wear nice shoes. Although style is not a substitute for a great personality, wearing stylish shoes can definitely give someone an edge when it comes to attracting women on a first date, but it is not the perfect solution.

Get out and go shopping for classy shoes!

Scuba Diving Lesson...

Philippines got all the great dive sites which is absolutely fun to dive with...But one particular place in the Philippines if you wish to have your diving lessons better go with WIND AND WAVE DAVAO. Actually, I been working with them for a couple months as a Marketing Associate-Customer Care. For that span of time, as a Marketing I really have to indulge into diving though I'm not really a good swimmer 'cause basically it a requirement for me being a their Marketing. In fact being a swimmer is not necessary in diving its just a plus for you. There's no particular requirements if you want to have a Diving Lesson. But one thing for sure is that you must be physically fit of course.

Wind and Wave Davao is primarily located at PPA Building, Sta. Ana Wharf, Davao City Philippines. They all got the equipment you need and they do have a certified divers who will teach and accompany you as you take your course with them. Most of the divers are trained at PADI Australia. In fact, the owner of the said dive shop in the person of Mr. Albert Pinggoy who happened to be my boss once is a Certified Diving Instructor.

History:

Mid-1993 saw the birth of City Shack Davao Dive Shop, a small operation that built its home in the heart of Davao City. That small operation soon turned into a full-fledged business as more and more enthusiasts sought the distinct pleasure of diving.

Riding the wave of success, City Shack relocated to a bigger and more accessible site at the city's biggest wharf. It was during this time in 1998 that City Shack became Whitetip Divers Davao, servicing a large portion of the diving community in Davao City.

By year-end of 2002, Whitetip was ready for another change. This time, the change included the introduction of kayaking, windsurfing, and kite boarding to the water sports enthusiasts. It also continued its commitment to the community in supporting the programs of the government and non-government organizations in promoting awareness and conservation of marine and aquatic resources as well as providing training for water safety and rescue operations. To encompass the expansion of its services, Whitetip needed a new identity. Hence, Wind and Wave Davao emerged as the embodiment of all of these.

With its firm commitment to quality service to its valued clients, love and protection of the marine environment, Wind and Wave Davao prides itself as the leader in aqua sports business for over a decade.

So, what are you waiting for?...Come, visit and have a dive with them!....c",)

Hollywood Blast...

"Richie Trial Postponed"
By WENN

HOLLYWOOD - Nicole Richie won't answer charges of driving under the influence until next month after a Los Angeles court approved her request to delay the start of her trial.

The socialite was stopped by police in December last year, allegedly driving the wrong way down a California highway.

She admitted using marijuana and Vicodin before the incident--but reports suggest she plans to challenge the drug test conducted on her when she was arrested.

A declaration filed by her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, in court on Tuesday appealed for the trial to be postponed because an expert defense witness would be out of the country and unavailable to testify until the beginning of next month.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Steven Lubell granted the request on Wednesday, although Richie didn't attend the hearing.

Her trial will begin on Aug. 16. If convicted, Richie faces a minimum sentence of five days in jail and could potentially serve up to a year behind bars due to a prior DUI conviction.

She pleaded not guilty at her arraignment hearing in February.

Mr Ban (right) has been holding talks with the UK's Gordon Brown
United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has expressed concern about worsening violence in Iraq and where US policy on Iraq might be heading.

He told the BBC that he was making contingency plans in case of a sudden change of direction in American policy.

He said his main concern was ensuring the safety and security of his staff.

Mr Ban's comments come as a new interim report on Iraq is expected in Washington, amid mounting political pressure for troop reductions.

Mr Ban was speaking in London, after talks with the new UK Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.

"I'm not quite sure what kind of a strategy the American government will have," he said.

I am sure that the new administration of the United Kingdom will have a new leadership under new circumstances
Ban Ki-moon

"But whatever the strategies they may have, I hope that they will have a close consultation."

Mr Ban said the situation in Iraq was a problem for the whole world, and he found the continuing civilian casualties and sectarian violence there deeply troubling.

He said both he and his special envoy in Baghdad had talked it over with the Iraqi leadership, but the safety and security of his staff was a priority.

The secretary general said he expected a different relationship with Mr Brown from the one he had with his predecessor, Tony Blair.

"Different circumstances will require different leadership," he said.

"I am sure that the new administration of the United Kingdom will have a new leadership under new circumstances."

Mr Ban said Mr Brown had agreed to collaborate on climate change, Darfur, and the UN's Development Goals.

Families and Communities

Creating strong families that serve as the foundation for community life by enhancing family relationships, parenting, child development and the community institutions that promote family well-being.
This topic is taken from Family Living Programs. I guess, this would great help to those families who are still starting to build up their own family nor this will also be a great guide to those families who in one way wish to have a harmonious family relationship.

Furthermore, I strongly believe that Family ties should be nurtured and cherished. Simply because they are all the reason why we exist in this world which is full of struggles and continuous challenges. There would be no other person who'll gonna help us in the midst of of our darker life its only them aside from "GOD"...

God Bless everyone!...

Health Norms...

I happened to read this article at one of the known Health web which is the Human Kinetics. They sell this book for just $34 dollars which I'm pretty sure it will greatly help in obtaining a good health. Here it is...

Norms for Fitness, Performance, and Health contains a comprehensive collection of normative data for numerous fitness, performance, and health components across a range of ages, abilities, occupations, and athletic backgrounds. It lays the foundation for working with normative data by detailing the purpose and benefits of norms. It reviews relevant statistical information to assist the reader in understanding and interpreting descriptive statistics, including a limited discussion on inferential statistics.

Norms for Fitness, Performance, and Health presents data for numerous fitness components, including strength, endurance, anaerobic and aerobic capacity and power, body composition, flexibility, speed, and agility, as well as data for various health norms such as cardiovascular capacity, blood lipids, bone density, energy expenditure, and caloric values. Professionals will be able to use the information to provide a basis of comparison to others in the same category as their clients. The data also highlight various athletic populations, including athletes in football, basketball, and baseball, and features normative data that were collected from professional sport organizations, including the NFL and NHL. Coaches will use these norms to gain a greater understanding of maximizing their athletes’ performance and develop optimal training programs. A unique aspect of the book is the inclusion of performance data for specific civil service populations such as police, firefighters, and military personnel.

Readers will benefit from this book by gaining knowledge on
  • comparing athletic populations and rating athletes based on normative values;
  • properly conducting and comparing various tests for specific fitness components through detailed test descriptions;
  • the importance of testing and the reasons for establishing testing programs;
  • the interpretation of normative data to allow proper understanding of test results; and
  • comprehending data analysis through the easy manner in which the statistics are presented.
The book is organized into three parts, with chapters fortified with figures and tables to make it easier to use and understand. Part I discusses the importance of fitness and health assessment, outlines the development of testing protocols, and provides a basic understanding of statistical interpretation of data. Part II provides normative data for various athletic performance and fitness components. These chapters focus on the variety of tests available for each component and provide normative data for various age groups, professions, and sports in both laboratory and field tests. Gender differences are also addressed when applicable. Part III offers normative data for various health issues, including cardiovascular profiles (blood pressure, heart rates), lipid profiles (cholesterol, triglycerides), hematological profiles (hemoglobin, iron), energy expenditures, and caloric values. An appendix is also available that outlines testing methods for 24 different tests and activities.

Norms for Fitness, Performance, and Health is a solid reference for fitness instructors, physical educators, exercise scientists, coaches, and various civil service professionals. It is the most comprehensive compilation of normative fitness and health data in existence and provides a basic understanding of statistical analysis of those norms.

Computer Innovations...

A computer is a machine for manipulating data according to a list of instructions, or program.

The ability to store and execute stored programs—that is, programmability—makes computers extremely versatile and distinguishes them from calculators. The Church–Turing thesis is a mathematical statement of this versatility: Any computer with a certain minimum capability is, in principle, capable of performing the same tasks that any other computer can perform. Therefore, computers with capability and complexity ranging from that of a personal digital assistant to a supercomputer are all able to perform the same computational tasks so long as time and storage capacity are not considerations.

Enlarge picture
A computer in a wristwatch.
Computers take numerous physical forms. Early electronic computers were the size of a large room, consuming as much power as several hundred modern personal computers. [1] Today, computers can be made small enough to fit into a wrist watch and powered from a watch battery. However, large-scale computing facilities still exist for specialized scientific computation and for the transaction processing requirements of large organizations. Society has come to recognize personal computers and their portable equivalent, the laptop computer, as icons of the information age; they are what most people think of as "a computer". However, the most common form of computer in use today is by far the embedded computer. Embedded computers are small, simple devices that are often used to control other devices—for example, they are used to control machines from fighter aircraft to industrial robots, digital cameras, and even children's toys.
